All teams will play three (3) games in Pool Play the first two days of the tournament and at least two games in Bracket Play, which begins on Thursday, July 24th. The top two finishers in each poll will advance to the A Division Bracket and the 3rd and 4h place finishes will advance to the B Division Bracket. Losers of the semi-final game of the A Division Bracket will play for 3rd and 4th place.
- Each team will play a minimum of 5 games and could play as many as 6 games by the time bracket play is completed.
- Each team will be assigned to a four team pool. After your team has played their 3 pool play games, they will be assigned to a bracket based on their pool play results. Bracket play will begin on the on Thursday, July 24. The Championship game will be Friday evening July 25th
- National High School Federation rules will be followed with the few exceptions listed below.
- Each player will be allowed a total of six (6) fouls before being disqualified.
- All games will be played in two (2) sixteen (16) minute halves.
- Overtime periods will be two (2) minutes in length. There will be 1 thirty-second timeout in overtime with no carryovers for each team. Each extra overtime period is 2 minutes with no timeouts allowed.
- There will be a two (2) minute rest period between halves.
- Teams will be allowed to call two (2) full timeouts and two (2) thirty-second timeouts during the regulation game.
- There will be a minimum four (4) minute warm-up period between games.
- No game will begin before the time listed on the official game schedule.
- All teams are expected to arrive for games prior to the scheduled start times. The amount of grace time that a team will be allowed and not have to forfeit their assigned game when they are not prepared to play at game time, will be determined by the tournament committee based on all information available. If a team knowingly cannot play their game, they must notify the Tournament Director in advance. In Bracket play, if a team cannot advance, the losing team will advance as if they have won the game.
- Players will be allowed to play for one team only. Once a player plays in a game for one team, she will no longer be eligible to participate for any other team in the tournament.
- All players must have high school eligibility remaining or be going into their first year of prep school, so that they are being recruited to enter college in the 2009-10 school year.
- Any violations discovered of rule #12 or #13 will result in game forfeitures.
- A certified trainer will on site at each gymnasium to attend to all injury issues.
- In Pool Play, the home team is the second team listed in each pair, will wear light colored jerseys and sit to the left of the scorekeeper facing the court.
- In Bracket Play, the home team is the bottom team in the bracket, will wear light colored jerseys and sit to the left of the scorekeeper facing the court.
- Final Pool Play Standings will be determined by win-lose records against teams within the same pool.

Tie-Breaking procedures for Pool Play placing will be determined in the following manner:
- Two (2) tied teams will be determined by head to head competition.
- Three (3) tied teams will be determined by the point differential in all pool games with a maximum of a twenty (20) point differential in any one game.
