I was born in Muskogee, OK and lived there until I was 8. Then my family and I moved to Nashville, TN. I began playing football when I was 9 (in OK you couldn’t play full contact football until the 3rd grade). I played for the Bellevue Steelers for 4 years. I played QB, LB and RB. I was awarded MVP one year and Most Valuable Back another year. Before 8th grade year we moved to Franklin, TN and I started school at Grassland Middle. That year I was awarded Mr. Versatility due to all the positions that I played, which was every position except for OL and DL.

In the 9th grade I moved to Franklin High. As a Freshman I played WR, TE, QB and DB. As a Sophomore I started at QB for the varsity team and I helped lead the team to our first district title in over a decade. I led the team in touchdowns and I was second in rushing yards. My Junior year the coach decided that due to my size and speed that he was going to play me at other positions than just QB. I played most of the time at WR and DB. I was also used at QB depending on the play we were running or the situation we were in.

This year I am looking forward to spending the majority of my time at WR and Safety. I really enjoy being able to play both sides of the ball. Playing QB is great, and I hope get to take some snaps behind center every know and then, but I also really like making the big catch or bone-crushing hit.

Voted “Mr. Versatility” at GMS due to the number of positions I played.

I love playing football. Hope to continue to play at the D1 level in college and onto the NFL after graduation. But, I will play at any level to continue being able to play football.
