I am Jonathan Blount, 17 years old and a lover of sports. I was born in Louisiana, but grew up in Dallas, TX. and currently residing in my home town of Shreveport, La. for the past 3 1/2 years. I have always loved basketball and attended many camps throughout the years to develop my skills. I have played organized basketball since the age of 6. My goal in life is to own my own business and give back to my society, in any way possible. I would like to pursue a degree in business management and also become a member of a Great Pro Basketball Team. I am the oldest of two children and love helping my younger sister develop her basketball skills.

I am an honor student maintaining a GPA of 4.3. I received the Academic Presidential Award in 2003 and currently ranked #1 in my graduating class. I am receiving College Credits at this time, for some courses I am taking in High School.

I play basketball year-round. During the Fall semester I play w/my High School Varsity Team, and also during the summers w/the Louisiana Roundballers AAU Team (sponsored by REEBOK). We are currently ranked 6th in the Nation and also do community service work, within our city. I have been a member of this team since the age of 14. I am currently a member of the Bossier City, LA. All Tournament Team, averaging about 15 points per game, a member of the AAA District All Academic Team and 2007-08 All District Team.

I am a 17 year old Junior residing in Shreveport, LA. attending Booker T.Washington High School. I am an honor student ranked #1 in my graduating class. I am a member of the Varsity Basketball team w/position of shooting guard. I am also a member of Key Club, Biology Club, and a speaker for the recruiting team, which tours different middle schools to recruit new students for high school. I am also the assistant girl’s basketball coach for my church league middle school AAU team.
