Biography:
I am 19 years old. I played varsity football all four years in high school at Eastside High School and Alcovy High School both in Newton County. I graduated from Alcovy in May 2008 and continued to play football at Valdosta State University starting as left guard and center on the JV team.
Honors:
Received the Most Valuable Offensive Lineman Award of the 06-07 seasons. 2007 All-County Team. 2007 8AAAA All-Region South 1st Team. 2007 All-Area 1st Team. A/B Honor Roll throughout high school. 3.9 GPA. ACT Composite: 31.
Other Statistics:
Started all 10 games in the 2007 football season. Played Center, O-Guard, and D-Tackle. Finished the season with 32 solo pancakes, 48 total pancakes, 23 knockdowns, and allowed 1 sack. Continued play as left guard and center at Valdosta State University starting all 6 games for the JV team. Finished the season with 16 pancakes, 2 knockdowns and allowed 4 sacks. Defeated Jacksonville University two times on the season. Averaged over 140 rushing yards per game.
